Cleaner (Casual)

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to help clean an empty warehouse in Belleville. This position will last around two weeks. It involves basic cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, cleaning shelves, and general tidying. The ideal candidate will have experience with custodial work and commercial cleaning, showing strong time management and communication skills to do the job efficiently and effectively.

Start: as soon as possible

Hours: Work chosen days any day of the week

Shifts: Start at 9.00am and work 8, 10 or 12 hours

Rate of Pay: $19.00 p/h

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning surfaces in commercial building.
  • Use custodial equipment to clean floors, and other areas to high standards of cleanliness
  • Manage time effectively to complete cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Requirements

  • Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety standards in custodial work
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical ability to perform duties and stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Reliable transportation to location
