General Labourers – Landscaping Crew

Our client, who provides landscaping and property management services, has an immediate opening for three General Labourers to work with a crew in Cobourg.

Start Date: Monday, 8 September

Shift: Monday – Friday 7.00 am – 4.30 pmm (approx)

Wage: Starting at $20.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay, paid weekly. A higher rate of pay is offered to those with extensive experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Planting trees and shrubs
  • Clearing brush
  • Laying sod
  • Laying mulch
  • Trimming
  • Laying landscape materials
  • Weeding and planting new garden

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to the site in Cobourg. Preference will be given to candidates who live within a 30-minute commute of Cobourg.
  • Excellent timekeeping skills are essential.
  • A minimum of one year of previous experience working for a landscaping company is required.
  • Applicants must be physically fit.
  • The ability to work in all weather conditions is necessary.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to work up to 9-hour days, depending on the job.
  • Must follow all Safe Job Procedures, Safe Work Practices, and Company Rules.
