Associate Insurance Advisor II – Farm Specialist

Bentley Staffing is hiring an Associate Insurance Advisor II – Farm Specialist for their client in Cobourg. In this role, you will support agency operations through sales and service, with a focus on farm insurance. You’ll communicate with clients, assess insurance needs, recommend products, process applications, and provide outstanding customer service.

Hours of Work: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. This is a hybrid in-office role located in Cobourg.
Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year + commissions

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales, service, and profitable growth of the farm insurance portfolio
  • Advise clients on coverage and policies to meet their needs
  • Prospect and cross-sell additional products and services
  • Conduct front-line risk assessments following underwriting guidelines
  • Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity
  • Respond to client questions, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed
  • Handle payment processing and maintain organized filing

Requirements

  • Two years of sales/service or related business experience (preferred)
  • Active General Insurance License (OTL) required
  • LLQP Life License is an asset
  • Knowledge of auto and property insurance products is an asset
  • May require your own vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and insurance
  • Successful candidates must pass a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check
  • Experience with selling techniques preferred
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client financial and personal information.
  • Expect direct contact with clients and service providers, sometimes in their environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build productive client relationships
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork
