General Labourer – Metal Fabrication
We are hiring a full-time General Labourer for a metal fabrication facility in Cobourg. This position involves working a straight afternoon shift. The role is very hands-on and requires some heavy lifting, along with a strong emphasis on teamwork. This position has the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
Start Date: Monday 17 November
Hours: Monday to Thursday 3.30pm to 2.00am – 4 x 10 hour shifts
Rate of Pay: $20.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay, paid weekly
Requirements:
– Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
– Confident working with hand tools
– Experience operating a mini-grinder and table crane is an asset
– Able to follow instructions
– Good eye for detail
– Capable of standing for long periods
– Previous experience in a shop environment is an asset
– Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
