Material Co-Ordinator
We are hiring a Material Co-Ordinator for an established Cobourg manufacturer. This position is full-time and long term. In fact, we are looking for someone who takes their job seriously, takes ownership of their work, has excellent organisational skills and takes responsibility of the role. This position is responsible for all of the internal movements of the materials from receipt to final shipping to the customers. This is a small family orientated business, where everyone works together to get the job done! START DATE: As soon as possible
RATE OF PAY: $23.00 p/h (could be higher depending on experience), plus 4% vacation pay. Paid weekly. This position has the opportunity to go permanent after which, you will be offered a strong comprehensive benefits plan and 2 weeks paid vacation
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday. Day shift – 7am to 3.30pm
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 3 year’s Fork lift experience. Licensed or in-house certification (expired accepted)
- Must be physically fit
- Must have at least 3 years warehouse experience
- Must have strong organisational skills
- Must have excellent attendance
- Experience with Microsoft Windows – Word, Excel and Outlook
DUTIES:
- Organise inventory in accurate manner
- Verify packed shipments for accuracy
- Operate the forklift to stage, move materials or transfer to racks
- Recording materials accurately in ERP data base
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Track any inventory discrepancies
- Willing to assist production team members if needed
- Co-ordinate with Production Manager on any changes, needs and updates
- Receive all incoming materials and document accordingly
- Prepare all outgoing shipments and document accordingly
