
Property Leasing Manager
Bentley Staffing is hiring a strong Property Leasing Manager for their client in Toronto who manages multi-unit off-campus student housing. In this role, you will be an on-site leader responsible for driving leasing performance and executing creative marketing strategies. Partnering closely with the Property Manager, you’ll ensure community events and campaigns align with the client’s brand and are executed with excellence. You’ll guide your team toward meeting occupancy, revenue, retention, and resident satisfaction goals.
START DATE: Immediately
SALARY: $62,000 with a 15% bonus potential, plus a full benefits package.

What You will Do:
Leasing & Operations:
- Recruit, hire, and develop full-time and part-time leasing team members, participating in interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Provide top-tier customer service while acting as a brand ambassador and your property.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, including lease-ups, renewals, resident programs, and themed competitions.
- Conduct engaging property tours for prospective residents, offering tailored insights and anticipating needs before they’re voiced.
- Facilitate leasing and renewal processes through in-person interactions, phone calls, and online platforms.
- Support all move-in and move-out logistics, including collecting deposits and fees as needed.
Digital Marketing & Execution:
- Actively manage content on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, while creating visually appealing assets using Canva, Lightroom, and VSCO.
- Maintain a vibrant and on-brand social media presence to reflect the lifestyle and culture of your community.
- Create custom flyers, social media graphics, and videos that capture attention and communicate value.
- Monitor and enhance your community’s online reputation using online research tools.
Sales & Marketing:
- Support creating and implementing the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with budget goals.
- Leverage your understanding of current marketing trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to increase leasing success, especially within the student housing market.
- Execute established sales and marketing strategies to drive property traffic, improve closing ratios, and achieve targeted occupancy levels.
- Accurately track and maintain prospect traffic and leasing data to inform strategy and performance.
What You will Need:
- 2+ years of experience leasing off-campus student housing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior leadership and management experience.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills that promote team collaboration, productivity, and a welcoming resident experience.
- A genuine passion for helping college students find a place they can call home.
