Community Manager

We are hiring on behalf of our client a Community Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of a student resident community.  This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for payroll, all onsite team members, resident and community development, supervision of all employees and management contract obligations.  If you have great communication skills, multi-tasking abilities and the ability to ensure all departments are running smoothly and efficiently – we would love to talk to you!

START DATE: As soon as possible

SALARY: $80,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approve and control all operational revenues and expenses
  • Financial and leasing reports are accurate
  • Oversee Sales and Marketing  initiatives at the property
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to obtain and acquire leasing goals
  • Direct and supervise all staff members and internal departments at the property
  • Ensure all legislated and payroll policies are followed
  • Ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep are kept on all suites
  • Works in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Ability to deal with high stress situations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years industry experience or equivalent management experience
  • Experience with property management software preferred
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior budgetary and decision making abilities
  • Excellent employee management skills
  • Able to provide leadership to staff
